Solo Self Found (SSF) Mode in Median XL
What is SSF?
Solo Self Found (SSF) is a gameplay mode that emphasizes self-reliance and individual achievement. In SSF, you play entirely on your own, without trading items with other players or participating in the auctions. This means all your gear, gold, and progress come solely from your own efforts.
Why Play SSF?
- Challenge: SSF provides a unique challenge, testing your ability to progress without external help.
- Self-Reliance: The satisfaction of achieving milestones on your own is incredibly rewarding.
- Pure Skill: Your success depends entirely on your skill and build choices, not on acquired gear.
- Ascension Bonus: You'll earn 1.5x score points for some Ascension achievements.
How to Enable SSF Mode:
You have two options for enabling SSF mode:

In-Game Command:
- Use the
/ssf on command in-game to enable SSF mode for your account.
- Any new characters created on that account will be SSF characters.
- Use
/ssf without any options to check the current status of your character and account.

NotArmory:
- Visit NotArmory (https://median-xl.com/acc/) and log in.
- Go to your account settings to toggle SSF mode on or off.
- Similar to the in-game command, this will affect all new characters created on your account.
Disabling SSF Mode for Your Character
To convert your SSF character to non-SSF, visit NotArmory:
- Log in and open your character's page.
- In the bottom right part of the page, there's a link to switch SSF off.
Muling in SSF:
To utilize mules in SSF, you'll need to create additional SSF characters on the same account. You can then join a game with both your main character and the mule by logging into the same account twice. This allows you to transfer items between your own characters while maintaining the spirit of SSF.
Important Notes:
- One-Way Conversion: You can convert an SSF character to non-SSF at any time, but this is irreversible. Once you switch, you cannot make that character SSF again.
- Joining Games: SSF characters can only join games created by other SSF characters on the same account.
- Trading and Auctions: SSF characters are automatically excluded from trading and auctions.
